Migrate HPO (ERC-20) → HP (Mainnet)

This guide will walk you through securely migrating your legacy HPO tokens (ERC-20) to the new HP coins on Hippo Protocol Mainnet.

If you are holding HPO tokens on a centralized exchange, the migration to HP will be handled automatically by the exchange. Please refer to the official announcements of each exchange for specific timelines and support details.

Prepare Your Wallet for Migration

In the example below, we use MetaMask. If you hold HPO in another Ethereum wallet, you can import it into Keplr using the same method.

✅ Step 1: Export Private Key from MetaMask

⚠️ Important: You must use the 64-character private key (hexadecimal format). Do not use your mnemonic phrase.

  1. Open MetaMask and select the wallet holding your HPO tokens.
  2. Click on Account Details.
